The Exploration

2010-2014

During this period, he starts competing in coffee championships, testing his skills in various categories such as Barista, Latte Art, and Brewers Cup. His talent and dedication soon earn him distinctions. Simultaneously, he becomes an Authorized SCA Trainer, a national and global competition judge, and a coach for aspiring competitors. The same time Chris expands his coffee journey beyond the cup, traveling to Indonesia and Brazil for hands-on training and firsthand experience at coffee farms.

2015

Getting on the role of a judge in international competitions, including the Romania Latte Art Championship Finals and the Romanian Coffee in Good Spirits Championship Finals. Meanwhile, he coaches the Greek Barista and Brewers Cup Champion, who secures second place at the World Brewers Cup in Denmark.

2016

He prepares competitors who secure third place in the Barista and Brewers Cup categories. He travels to Colombia to visit coffee farms and is invited as an All Star Guest at the WBC, solidifying his status as one of the top baristas in the field.

The Momentum

2018-2019

He takes a bold step in his entrepreneurial journey by founding Coviar, a micro-roastery where he becomes head roaster. At the same time, he mentors Davide Cavaglieri to victory in the Italian Barista Championship. Eager for new challenges, he expands his ventures, focusing on the growth of the micro-roastery sector.

2020-2023

Chris partners with Wisecup, co-owning the dynamic coffee roastery in Athens and helping establish a strong market presence. His quest for exceptional coffee takes him to Panama, where he explores farms and uncovers new coffee varieties.

The Innovation

2024

He wins first place in the Greek Coffee Championship, earning his spot at the World Coffee Championship in Busan, South Korea. This achievement marks a milestone in his long-standing dedication to the industry.

2025

A new chapter unfolds as he becomes a Brand Ambassador for Eversys, a leading company in the specialty coffee sector. This role is a testament to his hard work and unwavering commitment to the world of coffee.
